Road tripping around the region

An hour north of the Harbour Bridge you’ll find yourself a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.  Paddle down the Puhoi River, walk through native bush at Parry Kauri Park, see the blue trees on the Brick Bay Sculpture Trail and discover the boutique village of Matakana. Or take in a show at Sheepworld and head to Goat Island Marine Reserve to explore the fascinating underwater world.  And that’s just a taster of what’s on offer. Once you get there, you won’t want to leave and with lots of delightful B&B's and lodges in the area, you can linger at little longer.

Take a look at our suggested itineraries for ideas to help you plan your trip. Whether you’re pressed for time or have plenty, we’ve got it covered.
